Academics

Samoan Weaving Class

Coral Reef Academy’s smaller classroom setting provides an intimate learning environment where youth receive the individual attention and support they need to achieve.

Academic instruction is tailored to accommodate each youth’s individual needs and learning style.  We have carefully selected several curricula, to guarantee the highest of quality, flexibility and transferability of credits back to programs/schools in the United States. Some examples of these would be Brigham Young University's Independent Study program and Keystone National High School in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Students can catch up with their work and earn the credits that may be deficient in.

Another unique aspect to Coral Reef Academy's school is that in addition to learning the core subjects, our students are taught music, art and Polynesian culture in the classroom. Time is spent learning traditional songs, dances, crafts and culture. Utilizing tutors from local villages and schools our students become well versed in a culture they will come to cherish.
